Flowers are plants. This flower is called Gerbera Daisies. It is a genus of ornamental plants from the sunflower family. It was named in honor of the German naturalist Traugott Gerber. It has approximately 30 species in the wild, extending to South America, Africa and tropical Asia (Downden, 1994).
Gerbera Daisies are lively, festive flowers cultivated in a dazzling array of cheerful colors. Gerbera is very popular and widely used as a decorative garden plant or as cut flowers.
